2 beds down from my grandad in hospitail is a young window cleaner that fell off his ladders and smashed his hip i no were struggeling but is it worth it?hes now looking at 3 to 4 months off now,

No way is it worth the risk. Last week i saw a c****y up some ladders at this new restaurant. Snow & ice all over the pavement & nobody footing his ladders. What a dipstick!! All it takes is one slip. Safety first. Is it worth dying for a few quid, i think not. I fell of my ladders a couple of years ago, broke me arm & foot. The way i look at it is that i could have died and what for.....£7.00. By the way am now wfp.

There has always been a screwy attidude to ladders and safety among some window cleaners. You would think that it was an affront to their manhood to suggest they should consider the safety aspects of what they do.

I saw three guys out cleaning widows with ladders yesterday in West Harrow. Fine if thats what they want to do.

I have been in this business a long time off and on. I've heard about a lot of window cleaners and a lot of falls over the years.

Its just a job, not worth killing yourself over it.
