Sub contractors needed for big clean
« on: January 08, 2010, 07:00:34 pm »
I have a huge job starting week commencing 18th January for 2 weeks in Cornwall.

Those interested please email me with your hourly or day rates, experience, what equipment you have and whether you have transport, and state whether it is sign written or not.

Also let me know how many days you would be available, ie, 1 day, 4 days , 2 weeks etc

Day dreamers and rip off merchants need not apply

Dave, whats the issue about sign-written vans?

Im assuming you'd prefer NOT sign-written.

There is no issue, it is just a need to know basis, if i am using lots opf subbys, i need to inform and plan differently, no problem either way.

If they were plain they would get parking tickets every day, even might get removed from site if unnattended

If they were sign written then i would have to explain to the building owners what was happening.

There is pros and cons either way, so no big deal, just need to know

dave i would check to make sure your insurance covers sub contractors and also any you do use are full covered themselves, some jobs i have will not allow me to use sub contractors so it may be worth checking first.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt
