Path & Driveway Cleaning
« on: January 07, 2010, 01:37:00 pm »
We went out to a big local estate this morning where we do a lot of cleaning work, got 3 jobs to clean people paths and driveways, £20 for one, £30 for the other two.  Drop leaflets in all the other houses that looked like they needed doing.

Used a builders floor scraper to get under the ice, large metal shovel, stiff brush and bucket of gritsalt from a local grit bin, everyone's delighted and we've eventually made some money this week.  ;D

With two of us at it, it only took about 30 - 40 mins to do each of them.

One was really compacted ice under the snow and that was the worse, however the scrapers were ideal and just went straight under the ice and lifted it.
