good start to a new year?
« on: January 06, 2010, 10:30:06 pm »
Just though I will ask if you guys are having a good start to the wonderful New Year. We not had a bad start I must say.

I'm hoping this year will be exceptionally good, that’s why today I dedicated my day to enrolling on all the available courses for new year etc to improve my skills especially " cold calling" course I hope may be very useful.

Enquiries have been coming in which is a step in the right direction compared to pre xmas.
Could have done without the snow though.

A wonderful start thank you.

Not held a wand in my hand since before Christmas. It's lovely getting up late in the mornings as well.

Lots of bookings coming in. The only downside.....

....at some point I'll have to actually start cleaning them. :D

That's exactly what it'll be Steve.... I need to order oven cleaning products but I'm not going to bother until I know it can be delivered.... So from a consumer's point of view, I'm not expecting things to be normal and that's probably how your/our prospects are thinking :)

If you think about it though, providing you can get about on foot, if you go round delivering leaflets today people might appreciate some post and most of them will be in...... Ever the optimist ;D

Thats true Colin good idea, just gonna get some porridge down me then go and post some cards. Already printed off 30 reminder letters to get in the post as well from my database so hopefully will get some bookings from that.

Saw an advert last year about hot water window cleaning. Might be the answer!

Actually they are still trad.
Not much water put on the windows but they have come up clean.
Had someone at the bottom holding the ladder.
Wont catch me up a ladder - not even on a summers day.  :D
