up to 18' diy harris or when my bought 40'ers had it I chop it down and make shorter poles.

Both!

I use harris for conservatories and shop bought for windys.
The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

i use both, i use the harris on domestic, and use my sl-x for my higher work

Do you mean just the poles, or full system?

We have seven vans, all DIY installations with a static 40-40 to supply them all with water.

I make much of my equipment myself because I am able and I do not have the cash yet.But I must say its got to look good and professional so my customers think is the real thing.

wizard, the custys dont care, or even mention a word what you use, to them the harris is new technology, stick coloured heatshrink on the base, and a superlte brush on, looks real profesional  ;D

Matt who runs the diy forum got his system from ionics, but does not let on, and hides it quite well I think.

ive just rigged one up all in all about 25-30 quid
bargain
works just as good as a shop brought pole

got 1 harris DIY for domestics/commercial
got 1 harris DIY for gutter/fascia/conservatory roof.
got 1 3ft (extended) DIY swiffer handle for ground domestic/commercial.
Brought 30ft xtel pole.

Got an old Tucker Pole for the tall work up to 60 foot (will get carbon fibre when I've got the cash)
And a DIY fishing pole (thanks tosh & Jeff) for my lower stuff (up to 24')
