I was thinking along the same lines, but maybe making one myself, fixed to the inside roof of van....

Maybe 3 pieces of 3 x 2 wood screwed together in a sort of "U" shape?

I was thinking that but how would you secure them to the roof?

Self tapping screws maybe ?

Does your roof have strengthening struts going accross?
