« on: January 03, 2010, 07:49:09 am »
most of my domestic round is 4-5weekly.do u find that after using wfp for a while the custys dont want em doing that often?hence a lot of" not todays" as the windows are still clean?or do most still let u clean them?just wondering as i will be adding wfp later in the year.if this is increasingly the case i will have to canvass more work.as it stands ive got plenty to clean at the moment with 320 custys per month roughly.

best wishes

WFP is meant to keep your windows cleaner for longer as there is no residue left behind like traditional cleaning.

So yes you wont need to clean so often in reality.

But I have not seen anyone clean them any less. You will or could use it as a selling point that you could do every 6 weeks or 8 weeks. But you will need to compensate for the loss of money.

Also there are many factors to consider like the area, is the house on a main road if so the windows will get dirtier quicker more than a house out of the way from a main rd.

But you mayfind you win more work possibly.

I am not so sure that wfp keeps windows cleaner for longer as I never really did trad full time apart from a 6 week stint in the md 80's....

But I run a 8 weekly scheduled round and I can tell they need doing at that time and I am sure the customer can too...anything near water or a heavily used roads tend to get notciably very dirty also.

But 8 weekly is still a quick clean in general.

Cheers
Dave.

Im up to date if I run at 6 weeks, a day or two less would be getting a tad early, I could live with it but its never happened in the last 2 years.

As for WFP keeping windows cleaner, from my experience I believe it does.

I went to a customer on Thursday. I was just out doing a bit of catching up because I am so far behind with all the snow. This lady is an 8 week front only but she's never usually in so I thought she would be an easy one to do.
That day she was in and after exchanging the usual pleasantries she said "you can do them if you like but I don't really think they need it" Having looked at her windows I had to agree.

Even after 8 weeks some windows really don't need doing, fortunately most do.
