Has anyone brought from Red Hat Diving
« on: January 02, 2010, 04:01:19 pm »
Hi All

I came across this RO unit from Red Hat,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Extend2wash-400-GPD-reverse-osmosis-system-2-pumps-New_W0QQitemZ140357714099QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA?hash=item20adf8c0b3

I was wondering if anyone has got one of these units and if so, what they think of them also if they have brought anything from RED Hat and what there customer service is like.

The unit is 400gpd, which is great and quite cheap, i have found it on the guy website for £299 including a DI, it does say it can be upgraded to a 600gpd for about a tenner. :)

Many thanks

i have never bought of these people but have had dealings with them and i found them to be great,  before i went wfp   i was unsure what i needed and put a thread up here about the difference between di or ro and got told to google it lol   found these people on ebay and phoned him and asked for advice and he explained what i needed spent about 30 mins talking to me about what i need and what was best for me (at the time i was looking at a system on his websites than he didnt have instock)  i dont think i would have a problem buying from him, i guess that i am just lucky that gardiners is just 5 mins away from in one direction and wintecs is 20 mins in the other

Hi all,

I know John from Red Hat very well. I'm actually in the same Diving club. Oddly enough he also has quite a large line of diving equipment which was his first venture in the world of selling on ebay (as I understand it)
I originally got a trolley from John, (basically a crop sprayer from China) it served and is still serving very well for all those bits which I can't get to with the van mount system.
I have since had a couple of RO filters to expand my 200GPD system and all is well. I do know he is stocking quite a few bits and bob's for all applications. Poles, RO systems, pumps, filters and just about anything else.

Fantastic and helpful, all round good bloke.
Steve Bell,
SB Cleaning.

(also; HIP & EPC provider but with this climate.....)
