How do you de-register from vat
I am nowhere near the threshold now ???

Just contact HMRC or your Accountant and they will do it for you.


You might need to prove you are below the thresh hold.

Its that simple.

We are VAT registered. If you do commercial work in my opinion larger companies like dealing with VAT registered companies. However if you do residential they will prefer you not to be VAT registered.

if you de register, then you will have to change all your paper work to remove any info on VAT
