water freezing

With the cold weather we've been having. I've had water freezing on the windows.

Does anyone add anything into the water to stop this happening?

hi ryan mix some screenwash in ur bucket.should do the trick if its down to 1 or -1.works for me.use quite a lot mixed with a blob of fairy.does the job!! ;) ;D
price higher/work harder!

careful if ur using ladders when its snow/ice on the ground ryan.i use my trad poleNO LADDERS!!any windows i cant reach with pole get missed till next time! ;)

I waited for the ice to melt ;D

Luckily, up here we havent had the ice as bad as other places, i only had to go 5 days without working. & Luckily, i got a nice few gutter jobs & fascia cleans on BUNGALOWS ;D to keep me ticking over

been using this for a while put a cap or 2 of vodka in your water mix it well and a water softner did it last week when it was freezing cold worked a treat  8)
