« on: December 29, 2009, 06:09:33 pm »
just brought a ford transit pick up for installing a driveway rotary jetwash set up
collecting a 1000l ibc tank tmr
got a  highpowered jetwash which im bolting to the bed
will i need a pump or something to get the water from the ibc tank to the jetwash or do you just connect a hoseline between the 2

just connect an hoseline but make it 1 inch pipe so the flow is adquate, if your running from a tank it may be worthwhile having the unloader valve pump water back to tank whilst not cleaning this helps the pump not overheat.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

your cleaner will have a pump built in,definatley need the water to be fed back into your tank as a 1000l ibc wont last  that long espeacialy if your pumping out 18 litres a minute with a strong 13hp engine, you could also do with about 6ft of hose aswell to stop your machine vibrating away on the floor and dont run the machine whilst it is dry or you can knacker your pistons, hope this helps,steve..
