Can anyone tell me whether the new alloy hydra pole has that thick glossy black paint on? does it glide out smoothly or does it feel sticky to extend/ collapse

Hi Steve
I have the 7 & 25 FT Hydra Alloy pole from brodex,
They do have a black glossy paint finsh on them, and at first the section are quite stiff, but once you use it a few times, it works gine, the only fault i have with the rang is the thick black pole hose fitted.
Many thanks

Cheers guys,
I have a couple of hydra fibre glass poles and it has that glossy paint but its rippled and makes it awkward to extend and collapse, so i wet n dry'd them to make them smooth
im not keen on that black hose either, i took mine off and put the ioincs black hose on
