probs with controller
« on: December 28, 2009, 07:58:55 pm »
I'm having problems with my controller its flowmaster from pure freedom, i turned it on this morning the water in my tank wasnt frozen and non of the pipes were either, it wouldnt pump any water through so i turned it off and the pump started pumping with the controller off,

turned the controller on and the pump is pumping away to the max with the controller either on or off even with the controller saying DE (dead end) which before it would stop.

only way to stop the pump from pumping is to disconnect the battery, or turn the valve on the end of the hose to stop waterflow and it will say PS (pressure switch activated)

what the hell is going on with it?!

Hi mate.

I think you could open the controller box and simply clean the contacts at the relay of it. Most likely they burnt.

regards,
