Would you work this Monday? (28th Dec)
« on: December 26, 2009, 06:32:49 pm »
Because I did very little in the run up to Xmas and because today is the "real" boxing day I thought I might go to work on Monday (which is an official bank holiday) on my domestics - what do you reckon and if so what time would you turn up?

It's a game of three halves!

I'm going to enjoy the break, though I could work if I wanted too.  I'm off walking up Sugarloaf mountain with my dog and a mate.

Sounds good - I thought of doing Pen-y-fan but am a bit lethargic at the mo!

I've always found that Bank Holidays are a great time for picking up new customers.
It is a time when you will be seen by those that are normally at work, so don't be surprised to get some requests. But many of those will be off shopping or other things after dinner, so you will need to be around from 10.00am onwards.
Can also pick up some more tips, possibly from your own customers that aren't normally in.

Do you work in the rain stephen s? Do you collect or use envelopes? Are you wfp or trad? Do you do commercials on a Sunday? Do you phone people the night before and spoil their evening?  ;D

Yup back to work Monday as normal...lost too many days to be overly concerned about small issues...I just need to get back on the treadmill...cabin fever has taken over

I do intend to work Monday.  Money is tight and it's not as if it's a real boxing day - rather a lieu day.  I do make sure that I don't start before 10 on such days as I appreciate some people like a lie in.

I choose to work on Monday.  You choose not to.  I can't see the problem really.  I wouldn't try to persuade you to work.  It just seems odd that you try to persuade people not to.
