Burnt clutch smell
« on: December 21, 2009, 09:34:56 pm »
I was walking up a long hill today and saw a wfp wc van struggling up a hill - my god the smell!  Burning clutch!  It didn't stop there, in the ice and snow, all these cars and buses stinking up hills.

I can only imagine they were slipping the clutch instead of choosing 2nd gear and moving slowly.

What a stink!

More likely burning tyre rubber

defo burning rubber.

was in my mates car the other day ( Audi sports )  and it struggled like hell getting up a long steep hill with him really having to go for it at the top which resulted in the car flying over the hill and then straight down the other side.

my mate braked like hell but the car just screeched for about 300 yards before coming to rest half way over a ledge with a 120 foot drop and some much smoke coming up off the tyres

my mate winds down the window and says aaah smell that

smell it I said I'm F***ing sitting in it  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
