Need a bit more advice boys on which van to buy as i have just brought a pure freedom 650l 2 man van mounted system, but will still be doing trad so need ladders too,so dont want it too high to get ladders off?Thought about a citroen dispatch hdi or similar as i dont want too big a van?

I have a 2005 Expert and the payload is 800kgs ish, so unless you get a new one you would be overweight.  I have a 500litre system and when I went to a weighbridge I was only about 50kgs below.

Hope this helps

Depends on what you want to spend

Yeah i think the hdi model is the 900kg model where as the 1.9d are 815 kg.I am only looking to spend about 3K.

Sorry you are right, HDI is a higher payload.

You need a transit size van for your system. Expert & Dispatch are too small

650L plus all the extras, fuel, ladders & two guys will put you over the 900kg limit. I'd probably look at a transit or similar

concept

as above, transit or similar needed.

I also have a transit swb and feel it is well capable but you would need that size van especially when you have used 150litres and you are moving location and th water tends to rock in tank.

erm,,,,,, i think there 16 rung, not sure, ill measure them tomorrow if you want, you will be suprised how easy it makes things having a good bit of room though, ive got places for everything in my van and i can also sit 3 up front, payload is massive as well so ill never be near it
