Dazmond, what mix of screenwash/water do you use ? Just going to nip over to the local garage for some in a bit.

trad stuff will be used today without question, but also planning a little wfp if it carries on warming up.

By the way you should never rely on one method to make you money, hence why we do both  :P

also mentioned the test water turned to ice

I put water on the floor to test if ok, it is now ice

i guess as it got warmer, they used WFP

Maybe I need my head testing but tomorrow I'm going to be using ladders if I can't use WFP.  Water + plenty of screenwash in the bucket.   It's a simple matter of using ladders or bouncing direct debits at the start of January.  I will work as safe as possible though.  I have rubber matting and ladder mitts.  A bit slow and laborious carting around but with insufficient money in due to about £1800 unpaid, I see no choice.  Anything deemed unsafe will be left though.
It's far from ideal but it's the way I worked in freeze-ups until 2005.

it did get warmer yesterday or I would have had to use trad, but would have done work so did not need ladders, wfp did not freeze when finally started work yesterday was ok did not freeze up once.
