just bought a new 31ft hydra alloy pole for £192 inc vat and del. thrown in the 7ft alloy for free. cant be bad!

then i check my bank and they have made the transaction on a number of times taking alot of money out of my account.

rang the idiots up and the accounts people are not in!

they better sort it! xmas in a few days! dont need this now!

be aware of the brodex cash eater at xmas!

Oh Martin, will you do me a favour will you measure the base section including its clamp and let me know how long it is!

Ive got a reply back from Brodex about the pole section sizes, its as follows:-


Alistair,

 

The dimensions are as below

 

Base diameters

 

25ft – 14cms

31ft – 16cms

36ft – 16cms

 

Section sizes

 

25ft Base Section – 156cms

25ft Sections ALL – 135cms

 

31ft Base Section – 148cms

31ft Sections ALL – 126cms

 

36ft Base Section – 165cms

36ft Sections ALL – 145cms

Wouldn’t that be circumference, and not diameter?

I'm taking it for granted that he has got that wrong, that would be some base section  :o

So that diameter would be roughly 5cm

what did you pay then? bet you didnt get a free 7ft pole & 3 year warranty on the pole?

18ft pole 113 delivered and still got 3yr warranty

they were pretty crappy in accounts a while back but i use my commercial card so any carry on and i will be notified hopefully

 I returned a pole to them, they messed me about, no one was in account, etc etc.
Took 3 poxy weeks for my refund, the excuses were ridiculous,
done me big favour really.....
