tube heaters 12v ?

tube heaters 12v
Can you get these or could you convert one 2 12v?

Cleantech.co.uk used to sell them..they may still...they were a normal 240v with a voltage converter and a froststat.

 No I have to plug it into the mains, it has a thermostat  so if it gets below a certain temp it comes on.

This plugs into your lighter socket, im sure it could be adapted to come on at set times during the night .

how long would that last before stopping a standad van battery from starting uop in the morning  ?

I have twin batteries in the van I want to heat at night.

not long at all, its not going to work of 12 V batteries

yes it will work, but it will kill the battery and its not practical

let me just add ,

tube heater used for a 250 litre aquarium..... can warm up your water each night.

then you have a hot system. ;D

but they aint 12v
