Problem being with our inadequate justice system is that with good behaviour he'll only serve 9 months

If it were left to me 18 months would mean minimum 18 months, but admitted that still ain't enough

He won't get 18 months.  He'll do HALF of his sentance if he's a good boy; he'll be out by August, unless he's served time in remand, in which case that'll be deducted from the half of his sentance he'll serve. 

He'll be kept seperate from all the other 'normal' prisoners too.
