I think that you need it be very cautious in cold weather.
Last year I slipped on an icy road (the icy road was may doing) while getting out of the rear of the van and not only landed on my back on the road but also hit my head on the rear step in the process. It left me rather shook up and dazed. Soon afterward Natasha Richardson died as a result of head injuries caused by a fall skiing, so I was lucky.
Wont make that mistake again.

I could work in it, but its driving up the untreated side roads. especially in a ford escort van with a full 350ltr tank

Sorry to go of topic, Matt i'm thinking of an escort van with 350ltr tank, do you find it ok to drive carrying that much water? I've had an escort before and just carrying 4 25ltr containers of water seemed to affect the performance quite badly. Admittedly that van was a bit of a banger

Minus 6 yesterday, minus 8 today, had to re book work for next week one of which is our biggest domestic custy. Forcast for next week is plus 1, so will have to work right up to Christmas. :( Only got about 4 inches of snow though, so hope it's gone next week.

I find it ok, its a little sluggish going up the hill, if you have the turbo version it would be better.
