I had a 400ltr lay flat in my berlingo but changed it in the end for a custom made 350 as the 400ltr took up to much floor so the reel had to be mounted ontop of the tank

I had a 600 Berlingo (same van as partner) put a 250lt and a 125lt in there, when I filled it up it was like preparing for take off, nose up in the air :o

You've only got 600kg total carring capacity, including yourself, fuels, oils, hosereel, poles, etc etc, with a 400ltr filled you'll almose certainly be overweight, unless you only weigh 6 stones ;D

I've got a Peugeot Partner. 250l is about as much as you want, you have your poles, pump battery, fuel, you, and sundries. It adds up quickly :)
