Our local forecast is for wide spread frost, so time to remember what we did last year to protect our systems.

I've disconnected my tank-to-pump pipe and tied it up to the roof of the van.  That way only about a couple of feet can freeze.  I also disconnected  my pump-to-hosereel pipe, laid it down on the road and ran the pump until no more water came out, hopefully there's not enough left in it to freeze the pump.

The hosereel is in my shed, next to my greenhouse heater with frost-stat   (To protect my 40-40 membrane)

Forecast says -1 here in Guildford. Might not have to put the heater in van. Will put blanket on 4040 though.

I have had an oil filled radiator in my van for the past two weeks their was one night it still froze up if its going to be more than five below then i do the same as you and remove water from pipes tie delivery pipe up to the roof and remove the di tanks and pump so far so good and no damage
