Does any one use this, Need hose from my static, and may have to go any where up to 15 mtrs.

If you use it is it any good, and is it ok going up into the van, or a pain in the arse?

Need to start saving some money and this looks like I may just be able to do that.

Also If you use it how far do you pump through it?

I am told b&q do 15 mtrs for about £25 ish and lasts at least a few years

Im not the only one up late then!!  Cant ever go to bed, and says something if im posting on here at this time.............

Saying that, Im asking a question , You browsing!!!! Lol.

Any idea how this will be being put into my van tank, Like up and over the lip into the tank. Will it not wanna stay there?

Will go with it if it can be ok, But just woied itl flop all over the place.

Although if its got water pumping through it it must be full and solid.

Think Im just rambling now through tiredness......

I ues one if an area is flooded, there alright but they do really need to run in a straight line from your pump to outlet for the best result, any small kink in the hose then not so good. The other thing is when there is no water etc going through it, it will go back to being a flat-hose again so whatever you would use to connect to whatever you are filling up won't hold it in place, unless you have a barb type fitting. Machine Mart do various sizes.

I just use a £10 B&Q own brand hose pipe which is on a reel,think its 15 meters(at least,may be 20)can't get much cheaper than that!

I tried the blue one from Screwfix and within weeks it sprung leaks every where, I then bought the heavy duty blue one from Toolstation and after a few months that now has leaks all over it, so apart from loosing water from leaks I thinks its false economy to buy these lay flat hoses, so my next hose is going to be the solid one it may be a pain in the rear to get out and put away but at least I'll save water and hopefully will last so much longer.

Oh I pump mine around 20 meters away.

I think I will just use a old 1/2" hose at the moment.

I have a draper 750w pump that does 253lpm, so I think It will still do a very good job atm considering some ppl use 100lpm. And when time becomes more of a issue or when I have a bit of extra cash il buy 1 1/4" hose.

your pump may be rated at 253lt/min but not through half inch pipe!!  You will need at least one to one and a half inch to get anything like that flow rate :

Yeah I know this. What I mean is because its 253lpm it will still give me a resonable amount per min, as apposed to using a 110lpm through 1/2".

110lpm --- 1" say in a basic equasion could be
253lpm --- 1/2" = 126.5lpm

So generally should be fine!!

Its got a lot of wattage too so shoul be fine squeezing it through.

Well just testef it out through 1/2" an it seriously kicked it through!
Going to be fine for the moment or for a fair while!!!
