got a connect when the 59 plates came out great van dog loves it as well

I've just turned wfp after 24 years trad its early days yet but i think it's going to be a great move. Got the van signed up that's worth thinking about i've had a fair bit of interest business wise through  that.

Unfortunately can't give any advice on tank mount as i opted to use freedom trolly and 25 ltr drums plus wcw backpack as well, up to now this way of doing it suits me fine i'll probably move on to a van mount in the end, i've got a 350 ltr baffled holding tank in the house just now and i think that'll be the way i go if and when i change, i'm not envisaging any probs with a 350 ltr in the connect, i'm sure some of the guys on here will gen us up re what the connect can take.

cheers

Ross

I've got a 400 litre upright tank in my Connect. Works a treat for me. Its secured in a metal frame bolted to the chassis. Good luck.

It came out at approx 1.5 k, with all pipework fitted under van and float switch.
They recommended 350l as they said it's not as a tight fit as 400 L
price didn't include the RO and DI, but they did make the frame to accomate these.
I protectacote the floor prior to driving up .

Without being rude, If the £1500 doesnt get you a RO or DI, What does it get you?

Fitted tank,
pump,
controller,
hose + reel
and basic pole?
Few connectors and van ports?

Not being rude if it come across like that, but just really curious.

Sorry to Hijak thread.

Dazmond- have you considered the dispatch/scudo/expert van? Bit bigger than connect, most have THREE seats in the front & IMO you get more for your money than a connect.

With 800kg payload you should be able to go upto a 500l tank if it will fit and leave you enough room for hose etc.
