I charged my battery today and have just put it back in the van,i charged it when in the van and it has been cold allday mind. The reading after charging is normally 13.50-1400v on the meter but i`m getting -2 on the readout although it`s working the pump fine, when i turn the van on the split charger reading will go up but as soon as i turn off the van it drops at a rapid rate.I`ve tried 2 good batterys with the same outcome, and ideas would be welcome.

the only way to properly test the charge and condition of a battery is a battery hydrometer

I found the problem a blown fuse under the seat lol,C-TEK chargers are the best for what we need it charges my batterys in about 8hrs,i have to charge them because i have a hot water system which is having it`s battery split charge also tomorrow. The above charger is £200 but well worth the money.
