Sorry again for the abundance of messages and threads.

I have my swivel adapter and am doing what is recommended, and this may sound stupid.....

But do I have the plastic goosenech able to go back and forward and the swivle left to right? Or is the swivel to make it lean back and forward easily?

Sort of got that after reading twice   swivel to the left then to the right. angle adapter to adjust horizontal attack of the brush

I found the swivels broke easily so gave up with them.

Yes that's it,  handy when they work but a pain when they snap between the ball and screw connector

Turning it on the angle adaptor enables you to use it at any contorted angle to the side of where you are working, which is what a swivel is for isnt it?

It happens in situ' by twisting the pole, like a wagtail if you've used one. You can manually adjust the angle adaptor for virtical angle of the brush but the swivel allows sideways angles in real time while brush still has full contact with glass. Apart from the obvious situations like over conservatories, parked cars etc. it's also very handy for low work too like patio doors where glass goes to floor or very tight acsess as you can work from the side instead of having to be flush on to the window & retain full contact with glass. Also windows that are not square. Does that help?

The angle adaptor is ‘fixed’ (temporarily) at whatever angle you select – to enable the brush to sit flush on the window (whether the pole is near vertical or near horizontal (standing close to the wall or standing far away from the wall.

The ‘swivel connector’ is free to swivel at all times (enabling the brush ends to move forwards and backwards at any time.

This will only sound complicated and confusing, in print.

But, in practice, it means that you can clean windows over side obstructions (e.g. conservatories, outhouses, etc) when the swivel will allow a rectangular brush to ‘twist’ so that, while still sitting flush on the window, the brush edges/sides will be parallel with the frame (i.e. the square corners of the brush will ‘marry up’ with the square corners of the frame).

Believe me. They are great. Like WFP – once you’ve used them, you wouldn’t be without them!

I'll second that, it's up there with the slx, minibore hose, varistream etc. But, as said, you do need to "pin" them or they'll just pop out.

I went with microbore, Due to it apparantly being lighter and giving better flow.

What is it you find to be good about minibore, If your putting it so high up?

These are big steps forward in wfp IMO.

I chose 8mm hose for 2 reasons

1. There seems to be many people have flow/pump/ trouble with 6mm hose

2. 8mm hose puts less strain on the pump which in turn uses less power from the battery & I run my pump box direct from van battery with no probs. Never had a problem with flow/pump or battery.

It's one of those things that after a short time you wonder how you ever managed without it. I have to have a stock of them as I have work now that would be just a nightmare without one so I can't afford to be without one.
