Fine rib commercial low profile
« on: December 11, 2009, 05:12:28 pm »
Got a shool to do next week it isnt too bad and have approached the job as a prowler 1 pass HWE.
It is one of the finest ribbed low profiles I have seen looks like a loop pile with not very apparent (tight) peaks and troughs. Was thinking good prespray (JK citrus) grey xr pad then bonnet off with touch ms in buckets to help keep pads clean.  Have used bonnets on carpet tiles quite a lot in the past to very good effect with fusion clean or sometimes UPren tho never tried on the ribbed variety.
Just wondering how much success other ccs have had with LM system on ribbed  carpet types. Any advice / pointers gratefully received.

Cheers

Watch the XR pad carefully. Many ribbed carpets, especially the finer, can be susceptible to pilling.  For this sort of work, if extracting, I prefer to use a 3M Carpet Skimming Pad, or at a push the gentlest white floor polishing pad (3M colour coding). In the absence of a suitable pad, don't underestimate the efficiency of a bonnet for agitation.

Your wanding will be enhanced with a glide.

Bonnet after rinsing will aid drying and help with low spots "missed" by wand.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
