Hi guys has anyone used or know someone who can review this pole because at £115 it looks like a good pole. any help greatfully recieved

A very good pole.Robust and durable and a great price.Not the most rigid of poles because it is 4 sections but perfectly ok.If you do order 1 make sure that the jets are 1 or 2 mil,they forgot mine!!!!!Personally i dont really like the pole hose as it is almost the same as microbore and i like to pinch mine to stop water flow and this makes it hard to do!

cheers steve i am using sl-x at the moment but the clamps are not so good these days i know there is a clamp upgrade but it got me thinking about what pole i might go for next as £368 to replace is a bridge to far these days :
 i know the other options are to buy new sections but i will have to see if its viable in the long run but £115 the hydra  did look a real bargin i was wondering about how rigid it was they have a 1-5 scale 5 being bendy 1 being extremely rigid the hydra was rated as a 2 is this accurate ?

ive been using poles for 6 years and bought 2 18ft of brodex last week.

2 of my lads said they were excellent.

I used today and got to say it must be the best value for money pole on the market.

£115 for 18ft alloy pole is a massive statement from brodex and its about time a company brought poles down to a reasonable price.............

10/10 buy while they have them.

really good to hear expecting my 18ft hydra by wednesday some people have slagged them of a bit saying there to heavy and to long when collapsed 6ft my 24ft hxtel is 6ft 5" when collapsed should be ok i reckon 3 year warranty as well cant be bad

I went for the 31ft with the alloy gooseneck, it's great for 3 storey work and windows over big extensions etc.

Just the right amount of flex to move it over the glass, very little bend. The hose is a pig though, it's quite thick reinforced stuff, very stiff.

i,ve got 2 of the 24ft hydra alloy poles and they are rigid and easy to use , i will be buying the 36ft when they are in stock , the only problem is the clamps come loose so need re glueing , apart from that they are great poles and the price is spot on , buy one you won,t regret it regards alan

got18 ft just orderd 25 ft grate poles ,both will be used for99% of work

We've got three 18 footers.  Only gripe: on one of them all three clamps came loose - hardly any glue on them.  A good smear of Araldite and everythings fine.

My lads are a moany lot, so I reckon these must be brilliant because not one of them has come back to have a moan about them

yes got the 25 alloy with a super lite. great buy would buy  another no problem.
my mate has the 18 and says best pole he has had for the money.

I got a 31ft second hand one last week it was 1 month old paid £100 for it,it`s a good pole but can be a bit bendy when fully extended but quite light to work with

one problem the gardiners gooseneck is to big to fit on the brodex pole collar

Hi Ant,ye pleased with it mate but trapped my thumb betwen the clamps and got a blood blister (OUCH) when i was collapsing it the other day

I got the 57ft carbon hydra when they first came out,fantastic quality carbon and yes the 45ft is a great deal at the moment

Bendy good description of an aluminium pole, how much do they weigh?

I think all the pole descriptions/weights etc are on Thier website
