Neil, if the phones gone dead try taking prices off your website, that way custys have a reason to call and you can sell yourself, at the min they note your price and call others and bish bash bosh there gone  ;)

Did 2 bad jobs yesterday - both minging carpets, the 2nd one was also minging leather, not very happy bunny yesterday.

The first client was over the moon at the result even tho it wasnt perfect.

2nd one says "cant you get the carpet as clean as that - pointing to the part where the bed had been and never seen daylight. ::)
Then we get to the white suite (with 2 small kids).
It was black with dirt, and I  mean black. Resorted to the Paul Moss method of cleaning with the microfibre sponge otherwise it would never have come clean - then she went round picking on some of the very deeply ingrained dirt that just wouldnt shift.  [/b]
Should have used Cillit Bang like one potential customer said she had used on her leather suite - and I joke not. :o   Fortunately I was too expensive for that one. Whoppee.

Joe it was 2 years ago when i gave that little gem out (how time flys  :)) try adding some soap ( liquid) to your leather cleaner to give the sponge a boost ( that is if your still useing LTT or FC cleaners) it will make that extra diff on the mingers.

Things have moved on a few stages since then and I now use a new leather cleaner that eats the muck on the bad ones very fast, but when used with the mel sponge just rips every bit of muck out no matter how bad  ;)

November was my best month ever.
Last week I turned over £1150 and that included Thursday off and a cancellation.
Next 2 weeks - NOTHING in the diary and phone not ringing.
Its weird.

You will get some last min work am sure.

Was chating to another c cleaner yesterday and  he was  busy but not many new clients.

I also said the same with the new clients, and maybe people are price shopping this year ::)

The last 7 weeks have been very busy and very high earners.

But only 2 jobs next week, both full houses, then that's it - so plenty of space left for any last minute stuff.

Hope the phone starts ringing again, I would like to be flat out right up until xmas and then have a nice long break.

Been booked up solid to Christmas for a week now, my last day off was Sunday November 20th, so despite pressure from enquiries took today off (Sunday) to do my own carpets and hard floors. Not had a £5,000 week like Shaun, my best one yet this year fell almost a couple of grand short of that, still its nice to be busy, but then its been a busy year, only one or two quiet weeks.
