I got my annual bottle of red wine, but I guarantee that will be my lot.

I hate getting monetary 'tips' (had very few over the years, btw), it's patronising.

And makes putting the price up each year a touchy subject.

Get paid for what you do, no more and no less.

Do you tip the tax man?  ::)

They can patronise me if they like ;D

It's always touchy when price increases are mentioned

True enough, but it's nice to be appreciated that little bit more

I don't know him personally so no, do you never tip the paperkid/waitress/binman/milkman/taxidriver etc etc?

£145 so far.usually get about £500 by end of jan.expect nothing and anything else is a bonus!!i dont think its patronising.just shows they appreciate ur service all the year round and i  think they know we struggle to get our workload done on time in winter due to short days and bad weather! ;D ;D ;)
price higher/work harder!

I've had £20 so far.
I normally get £50 - £60 at most.  Not complaining.  I expect nothing so any little bits are a bonus.

Dont seem to be getting as many as last year despite having more custys than last. Sign of the times. Will look after those that have been generous.

The lads did a gutter job yesterday, £150 in three £50 notes, then he gave them another £50 note as a tip.
