shurflo/flowmaster controller help please.

the poblem iam getting is that when i use my flowmaster controller on between 3-4 setting.i can not for what every reason get the pump to switch off on the these settings,
if i turn controller up to 6+ the the pressure switch works and kicks the pump off,ie saving battery.
what could be the problem 
ps i tried adjusting pressure switch cant get it to kick off. 

anybody help will be greatl thanks lads   :P

I wouldve said to adjust your pressure switch but looks like youve done that.

Theres no control on flowmasters for this, varistreams have a setting you can adjust. Gonna have to play with pressure switch more me thinks.

should it just kick staight off or would you have to wait longer for pressure to build up on lower setting to kick it off

With is being on a lower setting it will take longer to build that pressure up.

If adjusting the pressure switch doesn't sort it you may need a new pressure switch.

My pressure switch stops cutting in if battery is low.

pressure switch is all ok as it cut out on the higher setting.
