selling up advice
« on: December 06, 2009, 03:38:37 pm »
I'm selling up my business and starting over again in a new area.

I'm going to be advertising it for sale after christmas and wanted to know if anyone had some advice on selling.

as its not a million miles away, 50 or so if i remember right? have you considered employing someone to run the round for you? you could pop back and monitor it a couple of times a week if necessary, that way it's still yours, and judging by previous posts, its earning you enough to afford to employ someone to do it...

just a thought.

of course you would have expenses, such as sorting out water for employee, 2nd van, etc, but, could be workable?

As much as I would love to concept, I just can't afford to do that.

I've got no where to get x amount of money to fund a new vehicle, equipment and have money to pay the bills too

Having thought it over its adding 2hours a day traveling and god knows how much in fuel a week.

Fresh start it is

why  work it and build you your new work

then when you can work half and half ( new and old ) then sell up

Matt... you for one will understand the value of time.

2 hours a day for 4 days a week is 8 hours less time i get to spend with my family.

Ive spent alot of time working this business up to where it is now and lost alot of time with my kids. I dont want to be working my arse off again in 2010.

Its family time thats important now
