Micro 6mm, mini 8mm  down to personal preference really i personaly use 6mm but i think 8mm is more common with most people.

yep  as P1W1 says, will add that i've heard using 8mm minibore has less strain on your pump.

don't know if this is true :-\

For things like pumps etc, well infact I found everything, Go to gardeners poles. I know im constantly recommending them, But they have always been the cheapest for what ever im looking for. Next day delivery is free on orders over £45, and they are just generally on the ball!!!

Do you mind me asking how come two? One as a back up? Or do you have intentions for each one?

Sorry to ask, but going into Wfp myself.

I just read on a post on here what people suggested was needed, not used xtel yet (it never came until over a week after the slx) I suppose it is a back up,and people seemed to say they used 17' most of time and 25' for over conny's etc,now i have got it i don't really see the point of having 2!!!! I think i will just end up using the slx all the time(but we shall see).I got a extra brush(which i ordered later) for conny roofs and guttering because i was worried i might knacker the other one up with tfr
