If that was an 8 weekly outside only id ask for £70, 4 weekly id ask for £60, theres alot of windows there m8, oh and if its inside and out, double what the frequency is.

Is it just the fornt of the store or the smaller windows around the building too?
Just the fronts I would charge £80 - 4 weekly and £90 - 8 weekly.
That would include the sign.

on my quote I was goin to put a price for weekly,  fortnightly and monthly and then a separate price for insides. I could also quote for the signage but as a separate issue. I don't see the outsides taking more than 2 hours.

Matt this is Northern Ireland, unfortunately we cant ask for prices that high over here, unless you live in Belfast though.  Then you have the numptys who charge smaller prices not just to get the work but thats what they charge so guys like myself and milltown cant get to charge 'proper' prices!!  Its annoying, i priced a commercial the other day £40 first clean, then £20 after that, got no word so obviously he thinks that was rough and it was a small place which i sorta round up to that aswell.

Milltown,

I would bare in mind that after a few cleans you will be able to knock out the external in under 1 hour.

Just a word for people giving their prices.

DONT FORGET, some competitors may watch what you price up at, i know someone who comes on this forum -NEVER contributes, but would se what i'd quote for anytime they may be pricing against me .

So thats the reason i am not commenting, however let me have your email and i would email you my price

The only advice I would give is if you have an idea how long it would take then go with your hourly rate plus a little extra just incase it takes a little longer.

I got my first comercial job today, but a little bakers shop is a bit different.

Good luck

My view too.  If you push yourself, once the first clean or two are out of the way, you could do that in half hour - say 45 minutes if you want to be a bit easier on yourself.  Now the insides are a different matter entirely.  Maybe try to get them done much less frequently as they won't be such a moneyspinner but suggest that the lower parts inside are done regularly as they get dirtier more quickly.  Make it sound like you are doing them a favour by trying to save them money.

It looks like an 'out of hours' clean with that car park and store layout; as in you may have to do it when the shop is closed because the cars and customers will get in the way.

I like jobs like that because you can knock them out quick in the daft hours of the morning.
