went down to quote for the cheshire oaks mcdonalds where my friend is the assistant manager he asked me to cum down to quote and to speak to the manager, got there totalled up the windows over 100 average sized windows and approx 50 small windows at top that are about 4 inches in height, he said the last guy goes each month 4 times a week doing internal and external for £250 and pretty much wanted to match that i said sod that i wouldnt get out of bed that works out at £15 quid a visit what wold everyone else do???

wouldnt even be worth sending an employee on 7quid an hour!!!

If you could get 15 stores across an area then that would be worth £45000 a year to your business.

Mixed in with other work than thats not a bad crack if you have employees.

It can be done in the rain too.

a mate of mine does the local mac here ,as u say  4 times a week , but he never does every window each visit , just  the bad glass every time  .

£15.62 per visit x 4 = £62.50 per week per store

£62.50 a week for 15 stores £937.50 per week

I used to do the local Macs here in my town, scrim off finger prints in theory is OK. Macs has gobbed out scoff all over the place and sticks to the glass like cat crap. You might get away with half the windows but you need that time to get all the crap on the windows where all the chavs have spat all their gunk and wiped their undies on the frames.

I cleaned two McDonalds for six years, the one up at Alton Towers ( now a Burger King) and the one on the way to Alton Towers, at Uttoxeter, Alton Towers once a week - saturday inside & out £30.00.

Uttoxeter started out at six visits per week, in the end it was getting a full wfp external on Monday, Wednesday & Saturday mornings and chosen glass (as required) inside for £285.00 per month.

Despite everything, come rain or shine the invoice was paid by their accounts department every month, on time and it was work that was always finished before it got light.

I got a lot of other work from my McDonalds work.

Dont break the price down to a per window price, do them all to start and then work clever and do what you need to keep them happy.The top row of small windows were only ever done when they started to look dirty.

I could crack two McDonalds out 6 miles apart in one hour

I sold them both. Couldn't tell you what is going on with them now. I also did the Little Chef on the other side of the roundabout once a week, saturday morning and got just less than a tonne for 11/2 hrs work!!
