« on: November 24, 2009, 02:26:22 pm »
4 bed detached with 10 windows (x27 panes (18 x 36ish inches)) 22 meters of gutter inside and out clean, facia boards, rake a stack of pine needles off of the roof in three places, 3 full door cleans, 5 gutter down pipes, garage door (7' x 10') and a 10'x 8' connie with a very green roof (the conservatory has 5 large windows and the equivalent of 9 roof panels about 18' by 4' ish. Thats about it.  :PGot a rough idea  ??? of what to charge but wondered how you would all price it. If possible could you show the breakdown. Sorry , got no pictures. Thankyou

Windows = £12.00
Gutters = £110.00
Down pipes = £25
Full doors = £15.00
Garage Doors = £10.00
Connie
Roof Panels = £45.00, 9 x £5
Windows = £5.00, 5 x £1

Total £222.00

I would round it up to £225-£250

Thanks Matt I appreciate your response. Thats roughly what I was thinking but after some other pricing ballsups I didn't want to get this wrong. Going by the speed of my other first cleans this'll probably take all day and then some. I think I'd push the windows up to £14 every 4 weeks because I think they're gonna get dirty quick based on the fact that there is a massive pine tree 10 foot from the front door. Cheers for you help

If its that bad then good for you, obviously inflate the price to allow for local conditions, a gutter full of pine needles overflowing can be slow work.
Matt, have you done many of these jobs ?

went in at £220 after all. Just dropped it round there and he's happy - perhaps could have gone in a bit higher - thanks for all help on the matter.
