I have been out with a couple of (ex)customers down the years - at different times.  They were both quite a while ago though and I don't think I would want to do that now as it can become a distraction from work.

This isn't an answer to your question but once in the village i use to live in a doctor who wa a right p**t went home and found his wife in bed with the builder, and another bloke in the village found his wife in bed with another woman.

I suspect I have been knocked back before for that reason but they would never be honest enough to admit it IMO.  Anyway, I've been in a decent relationship for some time.  We don't live together and there's no pressure.  I knew her for a long time before the friendship evolved into a relationship and she is well aware of how I earn my income.

I have.
A customer put me onto a friend of her's who wanted her windows done in the summer.
To be fair, she knew I was single now, but it was a window request.

I went over, did the windows in 15 minutes and was there 2 hours.
I went out with her for about 2 months.
She was pretty tidy actually, but I just got bored. Rebound I guess.

I still "pop round" from time to time...

Oh, and actually my ex who I was with 10 years I met while cleaning a pub.
