Cleaning Business for Sale www.cleaningessential.com
« on: November 15, 2009, 02:29:20 pm »
Dear members or friends or Members, my name is Andrew Pike, I own a cleaning business www.cleaningessential.com we have a well ranked site on google, the Business was set up in May of this year as you will see from our web site we have diversified quite a lot to see where the business is in the current market, we cater from Allergenic dust mite removal to a House Sitting service, the latter we have had a lot of interest in.
I have out of the blue had an offer for my business the web site and equipment ,anyhow I had no plans to sell to be honest, so I thought I would test the water further by opening it up to other possible interested parties, so if  you or anyone you know may be wanting to start up a new business or expand their current one and want a leg up with a good web site branding and some kit and advice, please contact me on 07861 698431 or use the contact page from the cleaningessential.com web site if this of interest to anyone.
NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE.
Many thanks  Andrew Pike.

If the business was only set up in May, it must have seen some truly stratospheric growth to be  worth buying in just over 6 months. Not even the chance to see first year accounts.

Oh yes just one thought value is for the domain name only not the value of any business behind it.

Best regards

what are you trying to prove? that you can't understand that it's telling you that you have mistyped something? i'm not trying to sell my business so i'm not worried about its worth as a website? and the link i posted was posted as a light hearted joke, though it does have a point. your website isn't that great; you're clearly spamming the keywords in your title tag, and there appears to be minimal seo on the site and on the web for your site. there ay be a lot of offline advertising and business happening, but that website and web address i woudln't price at any more then £50

I guess my point is i have no idea who you are !! and how you value my site is of no real interest or consequence, of course you are entitled to your opinion which i see you give often and freely something you clearly enjoy doing.
For what its worth i have had a lot of interest despite your comments, SEO can be both very expensive and a complete waste of time quite frankly and people make far to much of it, i still have good google ranking again despite what you say !.
So as i said before go figure.

Best regards and have a great weekend.

Is this forum here to help people or to score points?

Personally, I think his website is pretty good and better than most cleaning companies websites.   However, Andrew didn't come on here to ask for our opinions regarding his website, he asked for anyone who might be interested in buying his business as a whole package and a website is simply a marketing strategy for that business.  I assume that there will be proper due diligence from interested parties regarding its worth before any money changes hands.

Perhaps it would be best to ignore a post if you have nothing more constructive to post than silly websites that try and value your URL.  Or indeed to big up ones own website in order to sell seo and website design perhaps??

Best of luck to you Andrew.

i apprecaite what you have said diane and you're correct in some ways. as i mentioned though the website worth was only meant as a joke, and not specifically at andrew but at the website worth website itself valuing it at $12.

however this is a forum where people are supposed to post their opinions and post help/advice to other users. i would like to help other users who may consider buying a business just months after it started up. of course anyone considering it shouldn't be foolish and should require hard evidence as to why it's worth whatever it's worth, but coming from someone with perhaps a little more experience then the typical cleaner i can say why i feel such and such about his website.

andrew has actually benefited in some ways as most comments are not good comments relating to buying the business, meaning this thread would have got lost pretty quickly. we are keeping this up at the top on the first page for him :)

At last someone who can see that all i was asking was a question nothing more, and i completely agree with what you have said, and of course you are correct a package is exactly that, thank you for your comments re my web site, i never said it was the best, but i feel it looks pretty good a lot time and money has been spent developing this business, yes its only a few months old never the less offers a great opportunity for someone, i have other interests i want to explore which is the only reaason for asking the question on here.
A points scoring excercise is not very constructive and to be honest i have much better things to do with my time !! i always try to encourage not discourage, i think enough has been said about this guys comments.

Have a great weekend and i hope all well in your business  Andrew.
