new self build!
« on: November 14, 2009, 12:16:52 pm »
just finished my latest self build machine, all the major part bought off Ebay cost me £2500. if I had bought this from a manufacturer it would have cost me £8k easily.

its a bit late but it will earn its keep start of the season next year.

I've got a 4lt Jeep, a towing monster :D

its more for demos I hate doing prices and not being able to show them the results they can expect.

plus 5yrs ago I was the only one in this area doing P/W now their are 8 doing it. all using the exact same equipment, so how could I sell my services when they were saying they will use the exact same equipment as me but charge half my price.

this will set me apart from all the rest

Nice, compact.  What tank you got on there Mike, 1500-2000 lts?
Keep it covered with the winter just round the corner.

to be honest I've forgot the size of it ::)

I planning on sticking 10lts of antifreeze in the bowser top it up with 20lts of water and running that through the pump and hose then back into the tank, should protect it through winter, I was thinking of storing it until next season.

To antifreeze the old girl fit a 3 way valve in the suction line so it either sucks from tank or a hose that goes into the antifreeze tub, then run the engine and with the gun on low pressure back into the tub. That way you will dilute the antifreeze over time but not waste it all. Roger has written a more thorough method on another forum. My second jetter has that kohler engine and I have plenty of spares, pumps engines etc
