Dear Moderator ahem, now that your sitting idle  :-*, get the hot air gun out and play with it  ::) for as long as it takes, you now have the patience and time.
Heat it up and let it cool at least 6 times, then get your luverly lady to grip it tight and give it a twist  8)
Hope the two Daves have success tomorrow.
Shoulder, its the most complicated joint in the body, its floating. But I believe it will get better, good enough for work as long as you do totally what your told.

I've had this pole for around 3 months from new it has 10 sections, will reach around 61 feet. only used it 6 times, from new but having problems pulling section 1 & section 2 apart & section 4 & 5 I always greese each section and don't force the sections  together, today this has happened again but this time could not remove them the pole feels reel bendy at 7 sections do you think as the poles bends it is tightening the sections to the point that they can't be pulled apart. This weekend i've got to use all 10 sections on a new contract any help please.

p.s I am useing superlite brush & goose neck

Where I highlighted is the problem.
I use carbon poles all the time for match fishing I have never ever used grease, grease holds on to dirt and dust!
all you need to do is keep the joints CLEAN and DRY.
Before fixing the sections to each other, rub your finger inside the end of the sections that slide over the next section.

Having just brought a superlite i am reading this with interest ( and  worry!)

I wouldn't worry too much. There is very little that 4 hands can't do with the sl2.
Mine getting stuck fast then breaking was due to my own ignorance and haste. I acted after i posted the problem on here, but before i got the proper answers. Silly me.  ::)

Yep still got it. It is a hammered no2 section with around 10 inches missing where it went into the no1 section. I also have the broken no1 section laying around.
The fee involved would be whatever it would cost to get to you.

Try Beeswax on the pole.

Its alright people advising heating and twisting but while your out working this isnt always practical. A 40 foot vertical pole isnt very friendly when its windy and stuck together as i know to my cost.
The best method is the electrical tape method, something i wish the sellers would advise before you first use them and not something you find out about off a forum when sections are damaged!!!!!

Now I don't know if this will work because I'm poor and I can't afford a Carbon Modular pole  ;D but if someone wants to spend an extra couple of quid and try this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GRAPHITE-POWDER-fine-100g-bag_W0QQitemZ330376302562QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Collectables_RocksFossils_Minerals_EH?hash=item4cebf64fe2

Its graphite powder, Its used mainly in the lock industry to keep locks lubricated and the reason this is used rather than other lubricants is it lasts a lot longer than any other lubricant on the market and another of its main property is it does not attract dust, so maybe someone who wants to test it out and let the others know, If not if someone lives close to me then come here and I'll coat the Joints with some I have here.

Just thinking out aloud  ;)
