Commercial ribbed carpet
« on: June 04, 2005, 10:49:00 pm »
I cleaned commercial glue down ribbed carpet today with texatherm but it wrecked the pads.  Cleaned nicely but at £10 a pop for pads I wasent amused.

I dont like using HWE as it leaves it too wet due to no grip and airflow.

So how do you clean it.  Would charlie pads work well?  What about shampooing?

thanks
Mark

Mark,

Can't answer your question as I have very limited experience of low moisture ,but i have deleted all the nonsense posts so you might get a sensible answer.

Cheers,

Doug

I clean them with a green glide. They  are dry in 20 mins.

Hi Mark

Charly Super Pads were designed specifically for Commercial carpeting the face of the pad is made from polyamide so does not break down like normal pads and produces far greater agitation without distoring the carpet.

Our largest customer maintains 3 million square meters of commercial carpet in the telecoms sector the majority of which is ribbed, they are more than satisfied ith the results

Hope this helps

Best regards Nick

Karl,

I received a phone call at 23.55 last night from a moderator of another site , to let me know there were problems.

I deleted quite alot of stuff but there is only so much a moderator can do , afterall it is voluntary.

It's up to all to think before they post.

Cheers,

Doug
