Hi newbie here.....My question for the experienced guys out there is ;
My squeegy (14") is fitted with a 14" rubber blade soft..however it sticks out of both ends of the channel by a bit (maybe 2-4mm).
Now this is obviously normal as the spare rubber blades i bought are all the same(unger)........so what do you guys do cut them down slightly at each end so they are flush with the channel or leave them as is.

thanks for any help guys
I always left it sticking out a few mm when trad so you didn't scratch and scrape the sides of the rebate on old wooden windows. Not many of those about now though.
If you use soft rubber it's fine to overhang but you will have more edges to wipe if you use hard rubber and leave it overhanging.
If you get the Unger channels for instance with the notches you'll won't need any of those fiddly clips or anything.
I was trad 17 years and have never heard of 'dog earing' What the hell is that?
And I found a 12" best for domestics.
