depends how bad it is, if its just spitting and on and off  then yea, if its lashing down no,  whats the point in getting flu and missing a weeks work, when easier to miss half a day because of weather

It looks showery; so I'll work around them.  I've got a right big backlog!

I worked doing a gutter today and it chucked it down. Would have been a right laugh doing windows.

Whenever I book a new job, I always tell them we work in all conditions, and that regardless of the weather we guarantee the results will be perfect, or we will come back and do them again.

This covers us to work in bad weather if we want to - by choice we don't stand out getting soaked, but the decision is ours, not the custies.

I was on schedule with my my work yesterday until about 3pm when the heavens opened big time and so today I shower-dodged and did that £40 worth of work from yesterday. Then I did some paperwork/banking and am scheduled for a full day tomorrow which I will do unless it is really squally/heavy stuff.
It's a game of three halves!

Trad, in light rain and between showers. Don't fancy getting soaked, so don't work in a downpoor.

Well, I had a choice of trying to clean windows in a downpour and risk being turned away or do a gutter clean with my vac - guaranteed money and no moaning customers.  ;D

I do not work in rain that bounces off the road but will work in normal rain if there is such a thing...

I work to a planned 8 weekly cycle and I will reschedule work when required but I like to earn my target money for the week. WFP.

Cheers

I had quite a good day, cleaning windows, despite the rain.  I took a book and my lunch and just 'sat it out' and worked inbetween downpours; though I worked when the rain was light.

No-one complained and overall it was an enjoyable day, though I didn't make as much as I normally would, the amount was still okay.
