I was in Rome two years ago having an expresso with my wife, and who should be sitting next to me, but the man himself OJ Simpson

He was very friendly, sitting there with his Louis Vitton luggage and his Al Cappone body guard, but very pleasent. we exchanged some coversation about where we were from, and where we going next, and the usual boring stuff. After a while we decided to go, and OJ said that he would like to pay for our drinks, and of course i accepted ( Well who wouldnt!!). When we got up, i had this incredible urge to start looking around my table as if i had lost something, and before you know what was happening i was doing it.
After a few seconds, OJ said " are you ok man, have you lost something?"
Of which i replied "Yeah!! you havent seen a glove around have you?"
His Body guard looked at me straight in the eye, and then there was that silence that seemed to go on forever Then OJ burst out laughing and shook my hand. His gorilla wasnt impressed though, and my wife never spoke to me for the rest of the day

if you cant see a photo of my new window signs above then its been cut and if it gets cut again without cleanitup PMing me and telling me why. i will have no other option but to setup a new carpet cleaner FREE speach forum on the net. how can you cut a post without a warning? and who did it?

How does it help non Alerg Stop users with the decall for their vans?

I would have thought the place to discuss Alerg Stop promotion was on The Alerg Stop forum  Surley you do not want too many cleaners promoting Alerg Stop.

I have also checked on another two sites where Ian has posted in the past and there is no picture of his van.

the reason that is in two places is that it got deleted first time. its not an advert for the product its to show people the new one way window stickers.

how whould you like to put up a message and have it deleted with no reason. no PM no email. no warning.
As far as i know advertising is only advertising if i benifit from it. and i dont. just because the window stickers have a product name on it is not inportant its the idea that i am sharing.

as it coes most of my friends use this forum so that why its here and not anywhere else. plus if its any of your business my password does not work on johns forum and the other i use few and far between.

and second I had decided not to talk about "the product" on here any more respecting the view of many of its users. this deleted post was not about that it was about some great window signs.

for one i dont want people looking into my van. and if you had seen the post it talked about this.

if i wanted to talk about "the product" I would. but after hearing what people where saying about the posts i stopped. i call that respect. what did i get in return a deleted post about an unrelated subject.

Sorry chaps, a lot of this is too obtuse for me!

Nice picture of somebody's van.  Will it make me rush out get signed up for Allerg Stop - NO!.

By the way, keep your eye on those see through window transfers.  Had them done on my wife's galaxy as a means of free advertising - it's pulled  few jobs.  HOWEVER after only 8 months they have faded very badly and will have to come off!!

I think Alegg Stop has had a fair Crack of the Whip.

As I understand Nick has a Network Site.

I would imagine he has a News Letter.

I just think that is the appropriate place for telling your Friends.

again rule for one and not for another, poor sherlock gets gaged. the picture is taken off. of the van but allowed back. not that i think that the picture should be taken off. but it is constant advertising. but you allow it back . now allow sherlock with his tips

I put phots back on. advertsing is only advertising if you get money from it. and as a network member i dont. as i said it was about the new type of signs. i want to bring them to everones attention.

Ian as a moderator you should be respectfull and tell people what you are doing and give fair warning. what i think you should be doing is telling people privatly and pubicly about an issue. and a change in policy. things have been getting out of control and now you have left it so long you have a dirty job to do.

I have been aroung forums when they where called BBS and it basic stuff what happening here. and its down to the mods. Or the owners deciding to change to way their forum is going.

is this a commerical forum or not? have your marsters told you to stop the network chat? now be carful how you answer as I now the truth about this. as i keep saying its a small business.

what are the motavations behind the owners?

BTW Nick does not have a network site I do. he has no input into it apart from being a Mod.

With regards my friends not all are in the network so i need a place to chat to them about what is going on in my business.

Mike Boxall owns the site , Ian Gourlay and I moderate this section.

It really is as simple as that.

My objective is to allow open discussion without bullying or blatant advertising.

Whilst it is nice to explain to every person when deletions occur this is not always possible due to time etc, afterall I have a busy CC business to run and a family.

If someone doesn't think they can work within these restrictions then they are free to post elsewhere.

Whilst some consistent muppet posters are irritating to say the least, part of the roll of being a moderator is diplomacy in all fields of debate.

Yes it does take time and that is part of the commitment. In the end a short PM can save loads of grief and continued explanation (which often takes more time then the short PM) and stops the misunderstanding of a moderator just playing god.

I think everybody knows you have a busy CC business to run because so do they and like you still manage to find the time to post and contribute to CIU.

Giving people a simple alternative does nothing for anybody, but I guess that’s just my view.
