gonna get a new brush and have been looking at the gardiners superlite. I bought one about a year ago i guess think it was first run. I think its a great brush on wooden georgians but lacks a little scrub power on first cleans. Is the latest batch any stiffer? I usually use my multi pole ionics brush on all upvc cleans bit stiff but good scrub power. I have tryed the vikin brush bit heavy i rekon?? Any all rounders out there?

the one before the newest was the best brush I have ever used, I do not like the new d trim flock at all.

i have a superlite and feel that i can not get enought weight behind it on high windows, i prefer to use my sill brush for the windows, and feel this does a better job

Ive tried them all and personaly prefer the flocked. I have mk 1, 2 and 3 flocked but like the latest one as the splay of the bristles means less adjusting of the gooseneck on residential work.

un-flocked is the best brush superior scrubbing power highly recommend ,

i was using the superlite dual trim flocked brush but recently bought the single trim superlite and i personally think its got a lot more scrubbing power and splays really nice also makes mincemeat of snail trails , anyone else got one and what do you think ? regards alan

Neither do I. Alex thought I was the only person who disliked this new version. Bring back the old version any day

I use a superlite brush, and love it, but if your're after something with a bit of weight, try a VIKAN brush.

I totally agree about the weight thing, with high windows and a light pole it  is near impossible to use the centre bristles with a double trim  flocked s/l.

I tried to order a single trim , but they don't do one.

I haven't tried the latest flocked, but I did see a latest mono filament yesterday. the splay looked brilliant but the bristles looked too spaced apart I thought.

I need a new one soon, so i'll have to make my mind up.

I liked the look of the ionics d/t at the fed show. hmmm (rubbing chin lol)

The very latest model dual trim Super-Lites have quite a different splay pattern and as a result the centre bristles now come into play very easily, even with a light pole at height.  This improves scrubbing ability and speed of cleaning.

We do a single trim Super-Lite but this is only in monofilament and is recommended for those that want a 'harder feel' brush.  We don't do a single trim flocked brush as we've never found the need for them.

Personally my favourite is the new dual trim flocked. I find that this covers the glass very well with minimal scrubbing needed and excellent results - even at 50ft.

I have tried a few different brushes none of alex's though, don't dispute his are good from what is said on here.

brushes i have tried ionics double trim, vikan flocked, peter fogwells autobrush.

The brush for me is vikan mono-filament hi-lo, great brush ticks nearly all the boxes for me,

the only thing you could say against it is it is heavier than most brush but on a light-ish pole i can't see the problem.

Good scrubbing power, stays clean, can do sills as well.
