I have driven home from cambridge and left my pole behind, went back and it was still there an hour or so later..left ladders at job when trad, lost god knows how many scrims over the years. best one was going to tesco in my car, and for the life of me could not remember when I came out where I had parked my van....

Yes
And I knew a case of a man many years ago who unscrewed the lense of his rear tail light cluster and hid a spare key in there. What he didn't realise was that each time he put his foot on the brake, everyone behind him could see a perfect outline of the 'hidden' key. ;D ;D ;D

Sort of off-topic, but here's a good way to find out who, between your dog and your wife, loves you the most.

What you've got to do is lock both the wife and your dog in the boot of your car and leave them for two hours.

After the time period has elapsed, open the boot, and the one who looks happiest to see you loves you the most.

Long time ago, when I was 17 or so, I drove down a dark alley with my current lady, got in the back (leave the rest to your imagination), unknowing to me she had reached forward and locked the front doors for safety, we got out the back half dresses and I pushed the locks down for some reason I think, went to get in the front.................

Locked out of the car, half dressed, down a dark alley.   :-\    Had to ring my dad to bring my spare keys, VERY embarrassing !  More for her I think lol
