Put a cupful of bleach in once a week/fortnight - before filling up. It won't affect the TDS reading and will kill the algae.Mike
yes loaches as in fish
I have a 350 litre tank in my van and it is starting to go green inside with algae. I have tried to clean it out but can't get in behind the baffle in the middle of the tank.So I have done something my brother suggested a while ago.......I have put loaches in my tank to see if they will keep it clear hopefully this will work but I shall wait and see
i use milton sterlising fluid to clean out my container's alge is formed because of the light and micro organisms in the air getting in to the water
