Ok, something I posted in another thread, but thought it would be usefull for all.

When you give someone a quote and they say they need to ask there other half, take a name and contact number.

If they haven't got back to you in a few days, give them a call.

Some people mean to ring, but don't get round to it. The ones who will give you a number I have found really do want a window cleaner.

My wife gave out 16 quotes a few months back and called them a few days later. 12/16 she got and another just wanted fascias cleaning
