RO MAN frustration
« on: October 15, 2009, 05:14:45 pm »
Ordered from RO man 3 weeks ago with them telling me that the kit will be ready in 3 to 4 weeks.  Ive sent 4 emails in the last week for a progress report without a reply.

Theres no phone number to ring and its all very frustrating.  Anybody else having problems?

I want to support the UK market but have now started to look at the Chinese.

You send them mail and you have a reply within 24 hours, this is not just one company but several.
Ive just bought a 3000 watt vac from a comany in China.  Fabulous service from start to finish.  They even took photos as the vac was being packed with all the parts showing.
Its a great bit of kit and if it only lasts half the time of a European what the hell!!!
I did originally contact a well known supplier (yes you know who it is) :-X in the UK but his emails dried up when I mentioned that I would only want the poles due to the excesive cost of getting the machine to South Africa.

GET A GRIP SUPPLIERS. "Gardiners"  great sevice but one gripe, a little slow with the emails, but I can live with that.

Getting a reply from them has always been an issue, phone numbers if you can ever find one never gets answered, and the e-mail helpline usually gets a reply that looks like it was written by the YTS kiddie. Finally after about 10 e-mails back and forth you get somewhere near the answer to the technical question you asked. Which by that time (about 10 days) you've worked it yourself.
I'm still waiting for a couple of pre filters which they didn't have in stock 2 weeks ago.

Thanks Lads, sorry thing about all this is that the one order could lead to 100"s of units being ordered.
Any other companies doing 75 or 100 GPD units?

I'm getting 70% pure and 30% waste at the mo.  ;D

I will probably get a 40-40 in the new year as I really need to get flyers out etc for building my round down here in Essex.
